The Cement is a powder used in construction that becomes very hard when mixed with water and allowed to dry properly. It is made by burning limestone and clay in large ovens called kilns, where the materials melt together and form small stone-like pieces called clinker. These pieces are then crushed into soft powder, which we call cement. Cement is mainly used to make concrete by mixing it with sand and small stones. Concrete made from cement is used in building strong bases for houses, hospitals, schools, dams, drainage platforms, farm storage floor builds, industrial units, boundary walls entirely or regionally installed long-term across India.
Once the mixture of cement and water is used in construction, it slowly becomes stronger as days go by. To make sure the cement does not crack and stays strong, water is sprinkled on the surface regularly for curing. Cement should always be stored in a dry place before use because water or moisture can make it harden even inside the bag. Due to its strength, easy molding ability and long life, cement continues to be a key building material across India’s growth areas.
